How much do OnlyFans chatters earn in 2026?

2026-11-02

Most OnlyFans chatter jobs pay a share of the sales you make in chat, usually 20%, so what you take home depends on how much the creator earns. Some agencies add a fixed base on top: it starts around $740 a month. We counted the 8,606 chatter vacancies posted on Adult Job over the last 90 days to see what agencies actually offer.

These are not total earnings. A fixed figure below is the starting amount an advert names; commission comes on top of it, and 2,347 of the jobs pay commission only, with no base.

What agencies offer Typical figure Adverts
Commission on sales 20% 3,578
Fixed base a month, before commission from $740 1,654
Hourly base, often plus commission from $2.50 1,022

Three ways agencies pay chatters

Commission is the most common: you keep a share of every paid message, tip and unlock you sell. A fixed monthly base comes second, and an hourly base third. A base usually comes with a share of sales: 489 adverts pay a monthly base plus commission, 652 an hourly base plus commission.

Commission: 8% to 20%

Half of the commission offers pay 20% or more; the middle half sits between 8% and 20%. A low share is worth a closer look when there is no base on top of it.

Fixed base: from $450 to $1,000 a month

This is the bottom of the range each advert gives, before commission: a quarter of offers start below $450, a quarter at $1,000 or more. Where an advert also names a ceiling, the typical ceiling is $1,800 a month.

Hourly offers start at $2.50 an hour in a typical advert; the middle half is between $2.00 and $3.00.

Questions

Do I need experience to start?

Not always: many adverts say no experience is needed and that the agency trains you. Filter the chatter jobs by experience level to see them, and read how to become a chatter with no experience.

Is 20% commission good?

It is the typical offer. A quarter of commission jobs pay 8% or less, so check whether a fixed base comes on top.

How much will I earn in total?

That depends on the creator's sales, which no advert states: commission is a share of them. Ask the agency what a chatter on that page made last month before you start.

How we counted

All chatter vacancies posted on Adult Job in the last 90 days (8,606), open or since closed. Pay figures are the lower bound each advert states, by kind; fixed pay is converted to US dollars at the day's rate. Typical means the median: half of the adverts that state that kind of pay offer less, half more. The figures are counted again every day.
